DAY OF THE DEAD, SOHO, LONDON, ENGLAND!

The Night Was Day of The Dead.

MENENDEZ
BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!
I spent Day of the Dead in Soho at night at La Bodega Negra, a mexican hideout with a sex shop entrance.
With NO hint of activity below, the dead and the great Chi Chi M's birthday is celebrated.. I feel like a fuckin' reporter here but its been a week of serious excuses to PARTY. And go WEST as WELL as EAST.  6 hours or more of feeling like a beautiful person in a perfect other world in a place niche, boutique and outright hip.

I didn't try the guacomole but apparently no distinct flavour to report. Plus it was dark. Guac should always come with candles anyway! Apparently the menus is amazing and $$, - you can't put a price on being fashionable, but I was there to Party.

LOOKIE LOOKIE WHAT I FOUND!

If you like doughnuts and want to get married, & have $300 and 6 friends who eat doughnuts, this is the place.
downtown doughnut vows for loveie lovers.
In the Portland tradition of keeping it weird, THIS IS WEIRD.
It is, yup, a doughnut shop — motto,
“The Magic is in the Hole!!!”
 — but one in which it is possible to book a legal wedding ceremony for $300, with coffee and doughnuts for six people. Couples are married under a large velvet painting of Isaac Hayes.

I SPY WITH MY LITTLE ART EYE...

x JUST ENDED xTHE COLOUR CORNUCOPIA

Come feel the colour cornucopia

The New Curisoty Shop at 281 Redchurch street was a wonderful utopia of neon and the odd, curated by the designer Daniel Poole.
Neon Signs by Chris Bracey, oddity collections from Merill, as well as pieces from painter Jennifer Louise Martin, and multi media artist Sue Golden are all for sale! .
REMINDED ME OF A CROSS BETWEEN CONEY ISLAND AND A SEX SHOP, WHICH IS PROBABLY WHY I LIKED IT SO MUCH.
theres no place like UTOPIA

Can you feel my LOVE buzzzz?

FAST FOOD
◊ BAD FOR YOUR HEART?◊

Lookie Lookie what I found on Hackney Road today at Madame Goldstein.
BADLY WANT, even more than my  midnight cheeseburger crush.

Condolences to all you Quarter Pounder enthusiasts who've been using the National Heart Foundation's Tick as a rationale for regular McDonald's binges. Unfortunately that will no longer be a viable excuse because Macca's has lost the right to display the National Heart Foundation's Tick on foods marketed as healthy options because they aren't actually healthy at all.

It pisses me off that Maccas has been paying $300,000 a year to put the ubiquitous red tick on it's "healthy" fast food options, so the National Heart Foundation's word is about as reliable as Elmo in a bar fight.
BADLY WANT the Neon heart tho!
