MFW SS13

      MILANO

BOOM!
◊◊◊◊◊◊◊         ◊◊◊          ◊◊◊◊◊    ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊      ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊           ◊◊◊◊
Its that time of year in between London and Paris. The much missed thorn in my own fashion tale.
The dance between the flames.
Its Milan Fashion Week.
With New York and London, you have  emerging designers showing off their creations to the world. Its EXCITEMENT, and so much ENERGY!!!
But with Paris and Milano...you witness true and wearable works of art.
These are the clothes designed for the worlds best parties.

I have love. For the black winking hat. Envy for the Gucci green.

Georgio Armani's dazzling finale

Backstage at Fendi - an i-D moment with Cara Delevigne.

!!!!!!!!!!VERSUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
With a high voltage performance from Beth Ditto and a full-on Italo rave happening all around....
....Chains are the big story here. Cleverly playing with one of Versace signatures, Christopher Kane’s version came in bright coloured plastic, big and bold.

Statement GUCCI snake print!

The Prada line up in all its glory.

PRADA - the facts.
1. I love it but it can be pretty damn ugly.
2. It is also often the first show American Vogue creative director Anna Wintour flies into the Italian capital for.
3. It always has every big name girl in town walking in it.
4. SS13 - the Prada Disaster - Prada turns Japanese to the soundtrack of Megumi Satsu singing about love and suicide in French. Sounds good but looks TERRIBLE.
ITS LIKE A DEPRESSED KID PLAYING CUT AND PASTE WITH HELLO KITTYS LUNCH BOX.

"Everything we used to feel historically, now you can’t enjoy! The clothes are the expression of this impossible dream." MP

Dont get me wrong, Miuccia Prada is the fashion industry’s Messiah
But "flower power and complex cuts"? More like dripping bullet holes to me.

MOSCHINO

are back in the 60's

it's
DOLCE AND GABBANA
..and here come the virgins...

Inspired by streets of Sicily, and virgins no doubt,  D and G embraced the fabulous vibrant and eclectic culture . And decided to share it with the world.  Its Italian glamour with bare legs, crop tops (key importance to my liking)  aztec prints and beach life stripes. WICKED........especially wicked is our girl below :)
She's been caught in the sack.
Just Married?

Still obsessed with what Dolce and Gabbana did earlier in the year when they were inspired by the old and historical Italy. LOVE***
Their signature oversized jewellery, exaggerated cultural references and flamboyant petticoat style skirts and theatrical style was all there for all to see. Only this time they went one further with a old and historical Italian collection.

BOOM!
